FlightWorks buys jets for charter fleet

FlightWorks, a provider of domestic and international private air charter and aircraft management services, added two high demand aircraft to its charter fleet in November 2006. The latest additions are a Cessna Citation Sovereign, based at the Manassas Regional Airport (KHEF) serving the Washington, DC area and a Pilatus PC-12, stationed at McCollum Airport in Cobb County (KRYY), serving the Southeast market.

FlightWorks manages aircraft in several locations throughout the country to meet the growing demand for retail charter.

The 2006 Citation Sovereign private jet features seating for as many as nine passengers, and it is equipped with a DVD player, four flat-screen video monitors, a satellite phone, a CD player with headsets, a full service forward galley and fully enclosed aft lavatory with sink, vanity and dressing area.

The high demand Citation Sovereign, with stand-up cabin and leather captain chairs, is ideal for non-stop transcontinental itineraries such as Washington, DC to Santa Barbara, CA. With take-off and landing capability from 3600 foot runways, this aircraft can get into and out of a wider selection of general aviation airports - getting you closer to your final destination.

The versatile, fuel efficient Pilatus PC-12, a private turbo prop aircraft, features seating for six passengers in leather captains chairs with executive dining tables. It is equipped with a DVD player, four flat screen video monitors, satellite telephone service, a fully enclosed lavatory and a full service mini galley. The Pilatus PC- 12, with a cruising speed of 311 mph and 40 cubic feet of internal baggage space (which equates to more than 2.5 times the size of a typical automobile’s trunk - allowing ample space for luggage and golf clubs) is a great choice for regional travel when fuel efficiency and flexibility are important.
