Millennium rolls out Internet campaign

An Internet puzzle holds the key to an innovative worldwide Internet campaign launched by Millennium Hotels & Resorts (MHR). Visitors to will get a chance to solve the Millennium Map Jigsaw Challenge, which highlights key Millennium & Copthorne properties around the world. Participants could win a Grand Prize which will include not only a luxurious suite stay at one of MHR’s top properties, but also travel on Singapore Airlines Raffles Class to that destination, plus other valuable online vouchers.

The microsite will also feature a link to MHR’s Global Hot Deals page, which will be refreshed periodically with value deals from Millennium properties around the world.

“Our integrated on-line marketing strategy will be an engaging campaign for our Millennium & Copthorne branded hotels, pointing consumers to our puzzle microsite,” said Gerry Oh, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. “We are confident that many around the world will have fun trying the Millennium Map Jigsaw Challenge and also get to know more about our hotels in a memorably different way.”

The new campaign aims to engage consumers and raise brand awareness and recall. Through a partnership with Time Warner Group, the objective is to extend the Millennium brand beyond above-the-line media to engage hard-to-reach frequent travelers by leveraging the online channel to achieve that in a creative & sustainable way through a unique microsite.
