Together, taking advantage of the complementarities and capitalising on their professionalism, both companies leverage their strengths for their customers and for the Group.

This next step has been made with the intention of reinforcing the commitments of Air France and KLM, and will focus on maximizing the opportunities and synergies of the Group in UK and Ireland.

Together, AIR FRANCE KLM represent 70 million passengers and a fleet of 564 aircraft. Clients can now benefit from two complementary global networks and combinable fares, on their (which include a total of) 246 destinations, a generous joint frequent flyer program - Flying Blue, and an offer tailored to businesses. The business combination agreement between AIR FRANCE KLM gave rise to Europe’s number one air transport group in May 2004, based on a holding company and two airlines, keeping their own brands and identity.
