Anguilla Hotel inks local golf deal

Cap Juluca has announced two golf programs
with Temenos Golf Club,  the island’s new 18-hole Greg Norman-designed
championship course, which is adjacent to Cap Juluca and will be part of
the St. Regis Resort and Residences, Temenos Anguilla when it opens in
winter 2008.Tee for Two is for two golfers sharing accommodation and
Tropical Tee Off is for a golfer and non-golfer sharing. Both programs
offer four- and seven-night options.
    The four-night Tee for Two plan features beachfront accommodation
for two; two rounds of golf for both players with green fees, services
of a caddy and use of a golf cart; transfers to and from the golf
course; two dinners for two at any of Cap Juluca’s three restaurants or
from room service; wine and hors d’oeuvres on arrival; 10% accommodation
tax and 10% service charge; arrival and departure taxi transfers; and
afternoon tea and scones. The seven-night program is the same but with
seven nights’ accommodation, four rounds of golf for two and four
dinners for two.
    Rates for the four-night plan range from $4,155-$7,800 and for
the seven-night plan, $7,675-$14,165 per couple, depending on time of
year and type of accommodation.
    The four-night Tropical Tee Off features all of the inclusions of
the four-night Tee for Two plan, but with two rounds of golf for one and
a spa certificate. The seven-night program includes four rounds of golf
for one and the spa certificate. Depending on time of year and type of
accommodation, per couple rates for the four-night Tropical Tee Off
range from $3,600-$7,025 and from $6,455-$12,500 for the seven-night
    Complimentary to all Cap Juluca guests is Continental breakfast
served on the guests’ private terrace; all water sports; day and night
tennis; a tai chi class for two; croquet; practice golf at the aqua
driving range and putting green; use of the new fitness/cardio center;
bottle of rum and mini-bar set up; afternoon tea; sorbet service to
beach-goers; and horticultural tours. A wide variety of international
spa treatments is available.
    The 7100 yard, par 72 Greg Norman-designed course-Anguilla’s
first 18-hole championship course-is conveniently located next to Cap
Juluca. With views of the Caribbean Sea and the island of St. Martin,
the course meanders along an ecologically-based watering system of
lagoons and ponds. Fourteen holes have ocean views.
Cap Juluca is a secluded, sophisticated and romantic 179 acre retreat
with 58 spacious luxury rooms and junior suites, seven suites and six
pool villas located in 18 very private white Moorish style two story
beachfront villas. All rooms have ocean views and are air-conditioned.
