Delta Hotels targets biz travellers

From January 15 to April 13, 2007, guests checking
in to Delta hotels and resorts can win prizes instantly, during Check In to Win, the
company’s promotion targeting frequent business travellers. Launched earlier in 2006
for its first run, the sweepstakes will again offer more than two million dollars in
prizes.


The three-month-long sweepstakes guarantees exciting prizes like LG Electronics(tm)
32” flat screen TVs, Sirius Satellite Radio(tm) packages, Aeroplan® Miles and
Hertz(tm) gift certificates, totalling more than two million dollars. Big-ticket
items include three grand prizes: a gourmet dining and entertainment experience, a
bed and bathroom makeover and 100,000 Aeroplan® Miles.

“Check In to Win enjoyed phenomenal success among our existing base of Delta
Privilege members, engaging them with a fun on-line experience,” says Ken Lambert,
vice-president of sales and marketing. “With this sweepstakes we created a stronger
relationship between our members and the Delta brand and also introduced our
frequent guest program to a whole new base of travellers.”

After collecting a key card at check-in, guests will register for the sweepstakes at
www.deltacheckintowin.com and open a “virtual
suite” of seven doors, using the code printed on the key card. A prize is guaranteed
behind each and every door.

This “virtual suite,” custom-developed by ThinData Inc., is a unique piece of
technology that memorizes a guest’s play history, even remembering if a guest has
held off on claiming a prize. ThinData Inc. has also developed the on-line component
of the campaign, fully integrating Web, randomization and e-mail technologies.
