For the first time the ITB Berlin, which takes place from 7 to 11 March 2007 in the halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, is publishing a set of guidelines for exhibitors. This 30-page publication in German, English and Spanish provides exhibitors with advice that is invaluable for the planning, staging and subsequent assessment of their display at the world’s leading travel trade show. For newcomers to this event in particular it is a source of much useful information.
The chapter on preparing for this trade show contains helpful advice for planning an efficient presentation. It covers every aspect, from a definition of the objectives at the trade show, planning the event, scheduling, the stand concept and design, and the final checks, with all the important items presented in a concentrated form. The chapter dealing with the professional staging of the fair is also extremely useful. For example, it shows typical errors that should be avoided in order to ensure the success of discussions with customers. This publication also assists exhibitors in their post-fair assessments. The guidelines for exhibitors can be ordered from [email protected]
The ITB Virtual Market Place at www.virtualmarket.itb-berlin.de is also available to exhibitors and trade visitors to assist with their preparations for this event.
