Galileo agents to offer AXA insurance

Galileo by Travelport is
teaming up with AXA Insurance, the largest travel insurer in the UK, to
offer UK Galileo agents the chance to sell travel insurance policies to
their customers. These policies can be packaged up with other elements of a
customer booking, ensuring the agents provide a “one-stop-shop” for their

Galileo agents who are ABTA, IATA or ATOL bonded who would like to use the
Galileo system to sell insurance have to sign up with Galileo and become
approved to sell and the sale of travel insurance has to be linked to a
flight booking.  The AXA insurance policy is available from today and
offers the opportunity for the travel agencies to gain additional earnings.
Selling the policies through the easy to use Galileo system requires no
additional training.
