InterConti opens at Sacramento airport

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced that the
new Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sacramento Airport- Natomas has opened.The
$11 million property is one of more than 500 hotels in Holiday Inn Express’ global

Guests at the upcoming 100-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sacramento
Airport- Natomas will experience a comfortable and smart environment with innovative
guest-preferred upgrades to ensure a productive stay while traveling for business or
leisure. The Express Start® breakfast bar, a complimentary café-style breakfast bar
features a proprietary cinnamon roll and Smart Roast® coffee as well as other
morning favorites.  The SimplySmart(tm) shower incorporates a proprietary Stay
Smart(tm) showerhead by Kohler, upgraded 100 percent cotton terry towels and a new
line of cinnamon-scented bath products. The SimplySmart(tm) bedding collection
features crisp fresh bedding with an attractive decorative top sheet, a
medium-weight duvet blanket and soft 200 thread-count sheets.



The 59,000 sq.-ft. property offers a variety of amenities such as a business center,
24-hour front desk, complimentary parking, sundry shop, guest laundry facility and
complimentary shuttle service to the Sacramento International Airport as well as
area businesses and shops.  The new hotel also offers two meeting areas that seat up
to 60 people as well as a boardroom for smaller meetings.


Standard Holiday Inn Express guest rooms feature comfortable queen or king-sized
beds, a sitting area with a lounge chair and in-room coffee machine featuring
complimentary Smart Roast 100 percent Arabica coffee.  Business travelers will find
large desks with ergonomic chairs, free high-speed internet access, free local and
toll free phone calls (U.S. and Canada only), two phones with private voicemail and
complimentary USA Today newspapers.
