Dickinson takes new Virgin sales role

Virgin Atlantic has appointed Paul Dickinson to the newly created role of Sales and Marketing Director.  Paul, who joined Virgin Atlantic in November 2001, will oversee Virgin Atlantic’s global Sales and Marketing teams. In his new role Paul will be responsible for sales, marketing, Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club loyalty scheme, customer relations, contact centers and e-commerce. 

Before working for Virgin Atlantic Paul was Sales and Marketing Director for the Consumer Division of the RAC. He also formerly held positions for Granada and Air Miles.

Paul Dickinson said,

“I am really looking forward to the challenge of managing Virgin Atlantic’s sales and marketing activities around the world. We have a strong reputation for providing outstanding customer service, the most innovative products and great value for money. These will be at the heart of our future strategy to deliver great top line results for the company.”

Virgin Atlantic’s current Marketing Director, Alison Copus, has been appointed to a new role at Virgin Unite, Virgin’s charitable foundation.  More details of this role will be announced in due course. Alison, who joined Virgin Atlantic 12 years ago, has led an award-winning team which has created industry-leading innovations such as the Upper Class Suite, Premium Economy and the Heathrow Clubhouse.
