Expedia launches early bird campaign

Expedia.co.uk is launching its ‘Early Bird’ booking promotion, which will reward customers who choose to book their 2007 holiday early, with discounts of up to 20% on the normal trip price.

The ‘Early Bird’ campaign sees Expedia going head-to-head with low cost carriers to encourage travellers to book early to ensure they get the best deals and better availability in key booking periods.  It recognises how travellers are becoming increasingly savvy to how prices can actually increase, rather than decrease, the closer the booking is made to the departure date.

The campaign, which will be run online at www.expedia.co.uk and is supported with a print advertising campaign in national press, sees Expedia.co.uk working with its travel partners to bring good value products to the market and providing customers with the best possible deals for holidays in 2007.

The ‘Early Bird’ promotion is valid for bookings made throughout November for travel between 1st January and 31st August 2007, and will include Beach Holidays, Family Holidays, City Breaks and Far & Away trips.
