Thomas Cook upgrades for agents

Thomas Cook’s Trade Relations team is making it easier for independent
agents to keep their window cards smart and up-to-date via a new enhancement
to thomascookworld.com.

In a brand new ‘Offers & Window Cards’ section of the website, agents can
view the latest deals via a search engine, displayed in order of price with
the cheapest first. On selecting a deal, agents can then print out a
ready-made window card, with a choice of options including an image of the
property and pricing by family, per adult or per couple.

The deals are linked directly to Thomas Cook’s Viewdata system so prices are
live and up to date. Window cards can be printed for Thomas Cook, JMC,
Sunset, Club 18-30 and Neilson holidays. The deals can be searched according
to departure airport, company,  date, destination and party size to make it
as easy as possible for agents to find the perfect offers to complete their
windows.

Marc Bennett, Director of Trade Relations at Thomas Cook said: “When our
in-house system for printable window cards for Thomas Cook stores was
introduced the response from agents was phenomenal. They told us what an
improvement the cards made in managing window displays, and so our top
priority was to offer a similar service for our external travel agent
partners. We will be providing a training guide on thomascookworld.com for
third party agents to ensure they can exploit the new developments to the
maximum, although we have worked hard to make the system as easy to use as
possible.”

Thousands of agents are already using www.thomascookworld.com to keep
abreast of new developments, special offers and training information from
Thomas Cook.
