The Conrad Bangkok, is offering a new experience for its executive guests - a Mercedes-Benz SLK200 sports roadster, the latest addition to the hotel’s limousine fleet.The launch of the new Mercedes SLK200 sports roadster limousine was used to pick up the first guest using the sports car, Mr. Matthew LoCicero, from the new Suvarnabhumi Airport and directly into the hotel’s Lobby! Mr. Gregory Meadows, General Manager, and Mr. Wolfgang Huppenbauer, President & CEO of DaimlerChrysler (Thailand) were waiting to welcome him. Mr. LoCicero who flew from New York commented, “I like doing what no one else is doing….I am thrilled to be the first person to participate in this programme. Life is short, let’s travel first class.”

Mr.Gregory Meadows, General Manager, said “It was the combination of two great brands - Conrad and Mercedes. When limousine transfers were first launched you were asked “cold towel?”, with the Conrad’s latest transfer you will be asked “roof up or down?”.

“Our research highlighted that there was a potential niche in the market for the single business traveler who only had carry on plane luggage and who did not necessarily want the traditional airport transfer.”
