Preferred Hotels sign on Pegasus

The Preferred Hotel Group (PHG) has renewed its contract with Pegasus Solutions to provide PHG with the RezView® central reservation system, NetBooker® Internet booking engine, voice services and commission processing services.
Preferred Hotel Group is a global leader in the hospitality industry with more than 350 luxury hotels in 52 countries. Pegasus’ RezView CRS has been the reservation system for the group’s more than 73,000 hotel rooms serving as a fully hosted system that connects PHG hotels to more than 1,000 online distributors.
“The service Pegasus has provided over the past six years has been instrumental in enabling us to focus in on our business and achieve greater bookings for our hotels,” said Deena Kaufman, Preferred Hotel Group’s senior vice president of revenue and distribution management. “We are extremely pleased to extend our relationship with Pegasus and are confident the services they provide will continue to enhance our business and service to our hotel members.”

Pegasus will also continue to provide PHG with the Pegasus NetBooker Internet booking engine, operating PHG’s private label iBook® product, which enables the hotel group to grow its online business through each hotel’s own Web site. In addition, Pegasus will continue to provide PHG with a comprehensive line of voice services with its reservation call centers in nine locations around the world supporting 40 countries.

“Pegasus highly values the relationship we have built with the Preferred Hotel Group and we are delighted to continue to work with the company,” said Mike Kistner, Pegasus chief operating officer and president, reservation and distribution services.  “This relationship is one that is built on a sense of collaboration. And while we have worked to build PHG’s growing hotel customer base, they have been instrumental in helping Pegasus fine tune how we provide services and innovation to our customers as well.”

Pegasus will also continue to provide PHG with commission processing services through PHG’s private label iPay® product. In addition, the company is a customer of hotelbook.com, the Pegasus owned and operated travel Web site designed for independent hotels.
