RADIUS wins massive BlackRock account

RADIUS has been selected to provide travel management services to
BlackRock, following the company’s recent merger
with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. BlackRock’s bid process was led
by TCG Consulting in conjunction with a Global Travel Council at
BlackRock made up of key representatives around the world.  With 90
travel management companies operating 4,900 branch locations in 80
countries to produce USD 19.7 billion in sales, RADIUS is one of the
largest travel management companies in the world. 

The lead RADIUS travel companies for the BlackRock account are RADIUS
Ovation Travel Group in the United States and RADIUS Portman Travel in
the United Kingdom, along with RADIUS travel management companies in
Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore. 


The key objectives for the BlackRock global travel consolidation program
include providing the highest level of service to BlackRock employees,
travel and entertainment policy management, data consolidation, risk
management and traveler security and to identify opportunities and
leverage the BlackRock global travel related spend and support expansion
of the program worldwide.  Brian Ostrowe, managing director at BlackRock
and head of Corporate Services, said:  “The global agency sourcing

Global Travel Council was impressed by RADIUS’ ability to understand our
requirements and present a comprehensive and scalable solution”.
