100th City Hotel website unveiled

Intellistrand has launched its 100th Web site on the City Hotels Network. Site visitors can view more than 50 hotels per city in
locations throughout North America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

The 100th site launched, http://www.vancouverhotels.travel, comes 11 months
after the first City Hotels Network site, http://www.vegashotels.travel, was
produced by Intellistrand in December of 2005. By utilizing the Network,
viewers are able to search sites including http://www.newyorkcityhotels.travel,
http://www.parishotels.travel and http://www.cancunhotels.travel where they can make
reservations, research travel deals and learn specifics about particular
hotels in 100 cities worldwide.
In addition to the advanced booking features that offer a quick and
easy reservation process, the Network provides interactive maps powered by
Google Maps that allow the viewer to determine the hotel’s exact location
in relation to other attractions, which are listed on every Network site.
Each site also offers a “best selling” feature that ranks the most
requested hotel listings for each city, providing travelers with an idea of
what fellow travelers are selecting as their accommodations of choice.
Photographs are included to provide the viewer with a glimpse of the hotel
and its amenities before they make their selection.
Repeat visitors can sign up for e-mail alerts notifying them of special
discounts and updated rates at various hotels in their selected cities.
This service helps to reduce the time spent making reservations for
upcoming trips.
When planning for future trips, visitors to the City Hotels Network can
view other popular destinations currently offered by the Network. The list
is updated as new cities are added.
“We are thrilled to provide travelers with a new and affordable
resource in their travel planning,” said Will McIntosh, CEO of
Intellistrand. “By using these sites for reservation booking, travelers
will benefit from our Low Rate Guarantee, giving them the most options at
the best prices. Our goal is to ensure that tourists begin their trip with
the best possible experience when securing their travel plans.”
The .travel Internet domain was officially launched in January 2006
with more than 30 leading travel industry organizations, including the
American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), the World Travel and Tourism
Council (WTTC) and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), helping to
regulate and establish a true online community for the travel and tourism
industry.
