Minneapolis Doubletree unveils changes

The Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis
Park Place has proudly announced the successful completion of a multi
million dollar renovation.The extensive enhancement initiative included
design, technology, amenity and service upgrades throughout the hotel—
including the hotel’s new main entrance, public areas, 298 guestrooms, a
newly reinvigorated restaurant and lounge, and more than 26,000 sq. ft. of
meeting and event facilities.
  The Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park Place is operated under a
franchise agreement with Doubletree Hotel Systems, Inc., a wholly owned
subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation and managed by Surrey Hotel
Corporation. The reinvigorated hotel design was completed under the
direction of BGX, Inc.

  Just four miles from downtown Minneapolis, the Doubletree Hotel
Minneapolis Park Place has been designed to radiate a reenergized sense of
contemporary warmth and comfort. The hotel’s lobby has been transformed
with spacious new seating groups, a new front desk and a warm and
contemporary art collection of abstracts with vibrant colors that reflect
the Twin Cities.
  Guestrooms have been completely redesigned with a rich array of gold
tones and cherry woods and the brand’s luxurious Sweet Dreams by Doubletree
Sleep Experience—an environment that encourages a restful night’s sleep.
Guestroom bathrooms have been enhanced with upgraded lighting, curved
shower rods, updated fixtures, framed mirrors and new vanities with granite
counters. Conveniences for business travelers include large workspaces,
ergonomic seating, high-speed Internet access and in-room printing
services.
  With a refreshed collection of nearly 26,000 square feet of meeting and
banquet facilities, the Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park Place is proud to
offer one of the state’s largest hotel ballrooms and a dedicated conference
services staff that can assist with the most intimate of gatherings to the
grandest of galas. From the spacious 5,512 sq. ft. Park Ballroom to an
