Travelsupermarket signs Sol Melia

Travellers looking to compare hotels on the net have just had their options widened with the addition of Sol Melia to the website.

The Spanish hotel chain, is the latest big name to join the expanding selection of internationally recognised brands already signed up to, which receives 20,000 unique visitors per day to its dedicated hotel search facility, which compares a vast selection of hotels worldwide in one easy search.

Sol Melia Group provides around 350 hotels with 85,000 rooms in 30 countries on four continents through seven separate hotel brands including its latest addition ME by Meliá, a new brand of experience-based ‘personality’ hotels in select city and resort destinations around the world.

Alexis Garrick, channels manager for hotels at said: “The addition of Sol Melia has dramatically increased our worldwide search facility and range of resort hotels, giving our users easy access to an enormous number of properties in a simple and comprehensive way. Our ongoing strategy is to offer the widest range of properties to our customers and by working with such well-known brands, we are able to significantly boost the amount of hotels we display.”
