Hong Kong opens urban lifesyle hotel

The Fleming, Hong KongÁ?s chic Urban Lifestyle
hotel officially opens its doors.
In a charming, quiet side-street in the heart of the Wan Chai business and
entertainment district, The Fleming is just a short stroll from the Hong
Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, as well as the district’s famous
shopping and nightlife.

A unique boutique hotel created with international executives and frequent
business travellers in mind, The FlemingÁ?s contemporary, stylish and
spacious design is minimalist yet cosy, with high ceilings and Italian
marble. Its key philosophy is exceptionally friendly and attentive
personalised service.

The ‘urban lifestyle’ concept extends to high-tech facilities required by
today’s professionals and business travellers. All 66 rooms offer not only
the utmost comfort and quality, but all of the essentials for todayÁ?s
modern travellers such as plasma television, wireless broadband internet,
and cordless phones with voicemail service.

The hotel’s Executive Rooms are further equipped with 3-in-one fax, scanner
and printer, DVD player, and kitchenette—great for frequent travellers
who are fed up of eating out all the time.

Security is ensured with key card access to each floor in the elevator.

The Fleming recognises the distinctive needs of female business travellers,
offering Hong KongÁ?s first dedicated female only floor (opening in
November). The specially adorned rooms are complete with amenities
especially for ladies, as well as a beauty kit, jewelry box, facial steamer
and leg massage machine available upon request. Even the mini-bar is
tailored for women, with a selection of herbal teas and healthy snacks.

A fully equipped Business Centre offers a conference room, individual work
stations, and secretarial and translation services. It is also home to the
hotelÁ?s extensive DVD library. Hotel guests can also enjoy complimentary
access to the California Fitness, located just around the corner from the
hotel.

Located on the Lobby Level, the intimate restaurant Cubix serves tapas and
sensational western cuisine as well as a range of signature cocktails and
wines. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

John Hui, Managing Director of The Fleming, is the highest-ranked
professional men’s tennis player in the history of Hong Kong and many of its
features are based on his unique perspective on the hotel experience, having
spent over 15 years living out of a suitcase as he travelled the world
contesting tournaments.
