KLM to further reduce fuel surcharge

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has reduced its fuel surcharge. Effective today and in addition to the reduction of September 28th, UK passengers booking with KLM will now receive an additional GBP1 reduction per stretch on all intra-European flights and a GBP3 reduction per stretch on all intercontinental flights. The reduction is again a result of the reduced price of a barrel of oil and is part of KLM’s policy to review fuel surcharges on a ongoing basis.

Example fuel surcharge reductions:

Passengers travelling point to point between the UK and KLM’s Amsterdam hub at Schiphol Airport will benefit from a GBP2 reduction for a return flight.

Passengers travelling within Europe via Amsterdam e.g. London to Warsaw via Amsterdam will benefit from a GBP4 reduction for a return journey.

Intercontinental passengers will receive an GBP8 reduction on a return flight from the UK via Amsterdam.
