The Bulgari Resort in Bali opens

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has opened the second property in their exclusive boutique hotel group.Bulgari definesthe height of elegance 160-metres above the Indian Ocean with the openingof a breathtaking 59-villa property in Bali—one of the world’s mostexclusive and exotic destinations.

The three key elements that distinguish the Bulgari Resort in Bali are itsunique location, the blend of traditional Balinese style with dramaticcontemporary Italian design, and the variety of services that have all beencrafted with the same attention to quality that has always distinguishedBulgari creations.

The Bulgari Resort is located near the village of Pecatu and the stunningclifftop site of the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple, on the island’s farsouthwestern tip. The Jimbaran Bay and the international airport lie approximately 20 kilometres north of the resort while Kuta, the touristyheart of Bali, is a 40 minute-drive. Uniquely positioned at more than 150metres above the seashore, the resort offers unrivalled views across theIndian Ocean. Nestled between the cliff and the ocean, a 1.5 kilometre longbeach is accessible only through the resort’s inclined elevator.

Designed by architects Antonio Citterio and Partners, the resort reflects acontemporary interpretation of the traditional Balinese design whileconveying the distinctive Bulgari Italian style. The resort is comprised of 59 ocean-view villas, including 3 two-bedroom villas and the 1,300-sq.metreBulgari Villa. All accommodations offer a plunge pool and patio withsecluded tropical garden, high technology features and an extensive rangeof amenities.
