Travel comparison website travelsupermarket.com is appointing Kayte Williams as manager of its holidays business.
The keen holidaymaker has been promoted, following three years with the company. Her previous role as travelsupermarket.com’s commercial coordinator involved managing the sales and technical teams, as well as the providers to ensure key developments were carried out successfully. Now Kayte is in charge of running and developing the organisation’s holidays business, including relationships with partner companies and website development.
Kayte brings with her experience of development and progress to the newly created role and her main aim is to expand the holiday channel site from its existing 14 partners, including leading brands such as Thomas Cook, First Choice and the MyTravel Group, to over 30 partners.
Kayte said, “This is a fantastic role and an exciting opportunity for me. Travelsupermarket.com has grown dramatically over the past two years and there is certainly scope for more developments. I look forward to being part of this dynamic channel on the site and working closely with our existing partners as well as expanding them.”
The launch of the holiday comparison service in May of this year came as a direct response from customers using the site who wanted a complete holiday without wanting to self-package. Since its launch the holidays channel has been highly successful with upwards of 650,000 unique visitors per month.
