Domodedovo continues route expansion

Moscow/ Domodedovo International Airport’s network of regular flights has been extended. Transaero Airline started twice-weekly service to Amritsar (India) from October 3, 2006. Domodedovo’s network of flights covers 208 destinations worldwide, including 152 regular routes.

Transaero Airline will perform flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Domodedovo to Raja Sansi Airport operating Boeing 767-200/300.

In January-September 2006 Domodedovo’s route network was extended by a number of new routes including to such cities as Bangkok, Beijing, Toronto, Denpasar, Amman, Naples, Catania and Forli.

The extension of the route network and arrival of new airlines to the airport reflect successful marketing policy that is being implemented by EAST LINE specialists. Domodedovo was awarded “Highly Commended” by the OAG Airport Marketing Awards 2006, at the occasion of the 12-th Routes Forum held in Dubai in September 17-19, 2006. Domodedovo is one of the two finalists in the category of airports with annual passenger traffic volumes between 10 and 25 million passengers.
