Republic Airways has reported preliminary passenger traffic results for September 2006 and the company generated 535 million revenue passenger miles, a 49% increase over the same month last year.Available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 799 million, a 45% increase.

Block hours were 48,771 in September 2006, a 28.8% increase over September 2005. Load factor was 66.9% versus 65.0% in September 2005. A total of 1,042,867 passengers were carried during the month, a 42.8% increase over the same month last year.
