Key appointments for Six Senses

Six Senses Resorts & Spas have announced three key appointments.G. Narasimhan (Narsi) - Managing Director Business Development, South Asia and Indian Ocean. G Narasimhan, known as Narsi, has been promoted to the role of MD Business Development for South Asia and the Indian Ocean region for Six Senses Resorts & Spas. His previous role was that of Group Finance Director.

In his new role, Narsi will be responsible for developing new management opportunities for the company’s Soneva, Evason Hideaway and Evason property brands, and Six Senses Spas. In addition to the development responsibilities, Narsi will continue for the time being with corporate secretarial functions and group taxation matters.

Narsi has played a significant role in the growth of Six Senses since its inception.  He joined the company in 1993 as Financial Controller, then moving to Finance Director before becoming Group Finance Director. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Bombay in 1979 and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India. He is also a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of India.

Simon Allison - Chief Financial Officer. Simon Allison has been promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer of the Six Senses Group, from his former position of Managing Director Finance.

In addition to his corporate finance, development and investor relations duties, he takes on overall responsibility for the finance and accounting functions of the Group. He will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting and monitoring the performance of the Group.


Prior to joining Six Senses in 2005, Simon served as the Europe president of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc. Prior to that, he held the position of Managing Director - Investment and Finance at Molinaro Koger, a leading US-based hotel consultancy and brokerage firm. Simon graduated from Oxford in 1987, where he earned First Class honors, before joining JP Morgan where he worked in corporate finance for ten years, eventually becoming the global banker for the hotel industry.

Trevor Bartlett - Group Finance Director. Trevor Bartlett has been appointed as Group Finance Director for Six Senses Resorts & Spas. He will oversee all the Group accounting and reporting functions, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Trevor joins the group from his former role as Finance Director with Hospitality Europe B.V., which he joined in 1993 as Financial Controller. Prior to that he served as Financial Controller Overseas Development for Forte Hotels, having from Financial Controller - Sales and Marketing, and Chief Accountant UK Hotels during an eight-year tenure with the company.

Included in his professional memberships, Trevor is an Associate Member of British Association of Hospitality Accountants, Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accounts.
