InterContinental said average revenue per room (revpar) rose between 8.4 percent and 13.4 percent at all its brands in the U.S. in the eight months to August 31. RevPAR was up 13.4 percent at its U.S. Crowne Plaza hotels, up 8.6 percent at its U.S. Holiday Inn hotels and up 11 percent at its U.S. Holiday Inn Express hotels.

Revpar at Staybridge Suites, meanwhile, increased 8.4 percent, and by 10.1 percent at its Candlewood Suites unit.
