In recognition of the
company’s outreach to the Hispanic community, Latin Business magazine has
recently named MGM MIRAGE to the third annual “2006 Corporate Diversity
Honor Roll.“MGM MIRAGE, one of 21 recognized companies, is the only gaming
company on the list.
  Latin Business evaluated more than 80 companies which had received
diversity recognition from other publications and organizations in order to
determine this year’s “Honor Roll.” Companies were surveyed on Hispanic and
minority representation at all levels of employment, supplier diversity
programs and minority outreach, retention, promotion and marketing efforts.
  Also, MGM MIRAGE was recognized as one of the “Top 50 Companies for
Hispanics” by Hispanic Business magazine. This marks the second consecutive
year that the company was named to the list.
  To identify its “Top Companies,” Hispanic Business gathered information
from all Fortune 500 companies, American subsidiaries of Global 500
companies and other large U.S. public and private corporations. Selected
companies were chosen based on criteria including Hispanic and minority
representation on the board of directors and executive-level management;
minority recruitment efforts; employee retention and promotion programs;
marketing and community outreach; and supplier diversity programs.
