UK solicitors launch specialist travel dept

The tourism industry alone is worth £7 billion p.a. to the economy of the North West of England and in recognition of this Neil Myerson Solicitors have launched a specialist travel and leisure department. For many years they have carved a niche offering big city levels of professionalism and expertise from their offices in Altrincham and amongst their long list of clients are many businesses in these sectors. Given the expertise which the firm has developed over the years, it was a logical progression to set up a department to focus on the needs of the region’s travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers and other clients working within these sectors.

Neil Myerson Solicitors’ existing clients range from independent tour operators to hoteliers and coach operators. Commercial solicitor, Emma Lewis, who has substantial experience in the travel and leisure business sectors, heads the department and is assisted by Debra Maguire who advises clients on compliance, dispute resolution and licensing issues.

Commenting on the launch of her new department, Emma Lewis said, “Given the size and continuing growth of these sectors in the North West, and the speed at which the law is evolving, the time is right for a specialist team like ours. We were delighted to be appointed as an ABTA Travel Industry Partner and we are working with the NWDA and North West Tourism to assist these sectors in the North-West.”
