Le Royal Meridien Shanghai has opened its doors, located in the centre of this bustling metropolis, between Nanjing Road East and People’s Square. Housing 770 guest rooms, two grand ballrooms, five meeting rooms and one VIP room, the hotel can handle a range of events from small board meetings to executive conferences.

To mark its soft opening the hotel is offering a rate of 1,880 yuan (US$2237) per room, per night, including breakfast.
