Kingdom Hotels profit jumps 282%

Dubai’s Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI), controlled by Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, said on Tuesday its first-half net profit almost quadrupled to $27.9 million.
The company said earnings per share rose 157 percent to $0.18, according to Reuters news agency.

KHI, as the company is also known, owns shares in hotels in 17 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Europe managed by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Moevenpick and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts , according to the KHI Web site.
