New Zealand, Radius join forces
New Zealand has joined RADIUS’ worldwide network of
travel management companies.
Distinctive Travel Management has carved out a significant niche in the New Zealand
market by providing tailor-made full service travel management programmes to its
corporate clients and sees continued expansion via increased corporate accounts both
locally and globally through RADIUS and the introduction of a VIP Leisure Club for
corporate clients. Distinctive Travel Management’s current standing and future
plans for success become apparent when examining their clientele, which includes
many notable multinational companies. Distinctive Travel Management is also a
founding partner of First Travel Group, New Zealand’s leading independent corporate
travel alliance.
Commenting on their interest in joining the RADIUS network, Andrew Gay, Distinctive
Travel Management’s managing director stated, “Our vision for our company will
certainly be furthered by our association with a bona fide global player like
RADIUS. We are impressed and encouraged by the commitment of RADIUS to deliver real
value to the network, and by extension their member travel companies’ clients around
the globe. Furthermore, we believe our participation in the RADIUS Business
Development Group’s international corporate sales activities will enhance the level
of service and technology that we provide our multinational clients.”
RADIUS president and chief executive officer Tony Hughes added: “RADIUS is fortunate
to have a new shareholder with such keen business instincts and broad knowledge of
the travel industry. Our member travel companies around the world depend on RADIUS
to find outstanding, well-established partners so we are delighted to add a company
as strong as Distinctive Travel Management to our organization in such a key part of
the world, especially in our Business Development multinational corporate sales
efforts.”
