According to Mike Turner, head of BAE Systems, Airbus might have to announce further delays to the production of the A380.Turner issued the warning to a press briefing, following BAE’s agreement to sell its 20% stake in Airbus.

The BBC reports that EADS has denied the claims, saying “it was still carrying out an internal audit into the delays”.

Turner suggested that “all the ingredients are there” for further problems and such problems would not surprise him, but conceded that no-one could confirm that any further hold-ups would materialise.
