InterContinental Hotels Group has welcomed its first guests to the newly opened Holiday Inn Sokolniki, the
fourth addition to the group’s expanding Russian portfolio and the largest
Holiday Inn in Continental Europe.The move forms part of IHG’s long-term
strategy to introduce the Holiday Inn brand across the Russian Federation.
Situated next to the Sokolniki Expocentre, just 15 minutes away from Moscow
City Centre, the hotel boasts 523 classically furnished guestrooms and

The hotel was opened on Saturday 9 September by the Mayor of Moscow, Yuri
Luzhkov and President of the Bank of Moscow, Andrei Borodin. With the
unveiling of this fourth Holiday Inn, IHG has 1,300 hotel rooms in Moscow,
which is 29% of the branded hotel rooms in the city and makes
InterContinental Hotels Group the largest mid-market hotel chain in Moscow.

Holiday Inn Sokolniki provides 14 meeting rooms, offering conference
facilities for up to 750 guests with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment
and Wi-Fi high speed internet access.
The three restaurants and two bars of Holiday Inn Moscow-Sokolniki offer a
wide range of dishes and beverages. In ‘ANT-25’ restaurant one can enjoy a
fantastic view from the 25th floor and the ‘Luzhniki’ bar offers a giant
screen for sport events. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool,
sauna, spa and Fitness Centre.
