The Presidential and Jacuzzi Suites of Swiss™tel The Bosphorus, Istanbul, have been given a brand new look, part of a US$20 million renovation that also includes new meeting space, a lobby lounge, spa, business center, and La Corne D’or Restaurant.  Renovations began in November, 2005 and are expected to be completed in March, 2007. 

Located on the 18th floor of the hotel and occupying 1990 square feet (185 square meters) each, guests visiting Swiss™tel The Bosphorus’s two Presidential Suites will experience a wide array of gracious comforts, stunning views, and distinctive privileges fit for an Ottoman sultan. 

The suites were designed by internationally renowned architect Sinan Kafadar.  As part of Mr. Kafadar’s design, the suite’s walls have been adorned with abstract paintings by world-famous Turkish artist, Günseli Kato.  Hand-made accessories embellished with Turkish motifs, placed throughout the room, add a traditional touch to the modern ambiance of the suites.  A chandelier and the wall fixtures, specially designed by Barovier, also enhance the décor. 
The new suites each boast a superior audio-visual infrastructure, with Bang & Olufsen Plasma TV sets placed in the bathroom, in each bedroom (there are two bedrooms per suite), and living room.  A surround-sound system and CD players enhance both the bedroom and living room. 

The Presidential Suite’s bathroom boasts a king-size Jacuzzi tub, a shower with a specially-designed rain water feature, and luxurious, delicately scented Molton Brown bath amenities.

The large, modern kitchens in each suite boast Siemens refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Phillips-brand coffee machines. 

Guests can sun bathe, enjoy the sunset, or dine al fresco on Turkish and world cuisines from one of the hotel’s 16 diverse restaurants, bars and lounges while enjoying the spectacular vistas from the Presidential Suite’s magnificent 220-square-foot (21-square-meter) terrace.

In addition to the Presidential Suite renovations, Swiss™tel The Bosphorus’ renovation plans include three new Jacuzzi suites.  Each is located on the 15th floor and offers fantastic views over the Bosphorus.  The Jacuzzi suites offer special items such as plasma TV sets in the bedroom and in the bathroom, massaging showers and Molton Brown bath amenities.  A special Jacuzzi menu, featuring luscious delectables including champagne and caviar, and strawberries and chocolate, is available to guests of the suites. 

Guests of the Presidential and Jacuzzi Suites also enjoy access to the elegant Executive Lounge of the hotel.
