eTravco appoints CEO

eTravco are naming William R. Misunas as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He replaces company founder, chairman and chief executive officer, Brent Pasquinelli, who will become president of eTravco’s travel agency division.

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Misunas will be responsible for the company’s vision, planning and overall strategy. He brings more than 30 years of travel industry experience to his new role in eTravco. Most recently, Mr. Misunas served on eTravco’s Board of Directors and as Interim Managing Director of the company. Before that, he provided consulting services to companies such as Travelocity and Bidtripper.com. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing for REZsolutions, Inc., the largest global provider of integrated technology, marketing, distribution and reservation processing solutions for the hotel industry. He also was founder, president and chief executive officer of Travel Resources Management Group, which provided marketing solutions, sales representation and reservation services for a global network of independent four- and five star hotels through the Sterling Hotel Group. Prior to that, for 12 years Mr. Misunas served in various executive capacities for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

As President of eTravco’s travel agency division, Mr. Pasquinelli will serve as a liaison between eTravco, its 1,200 travel agency members and its 70 preferred suppliers. In addition, Mr. Pasquinelli will be responsible for the anticipated rapid growth of eTravco’s travel agency membership over the next 12 to 18 months. Mr. Pasquinelli founded eTravco in 1999 and previously served as president and founder of Omega World Travel. Mr. Pasquinelli was also an integral contributor to the early stage development and growth of Cruise.com, and has served on numerous community business and charitable boards.
