Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has confirm that its Royal Caribbean International brand has been recognised by the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards 2006 as the best Cruise Line in the large ships category. Ê
2006 has been an extremely exciting year for Royal Caribbean International with the delivery of Freedom of the Seas, the world’s most innovative and largest cruise ship. Plus, Royal Caribbean International currently has its most diverse ever fleet based in Europe. This deployment will expand further in 2007 with the much anticipated arrival in the UK of Navigator of the Seas, a ship with activities and facilities such as an ice-skating rink, in-line skating track, rock-climbing wall and basketball court. Navigator of the Seas will be the most exhilarating cruise ship ever to be based in the UK.
Welcoming the new award, Robin Shaw, Managing Director, UK and Ireland, Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises says:
“It is with great excitement that Royal Caribbean International receives the award as best Cruise Line (large ships) from the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Awards and we would like to sincerely thank the readers of the magazine for their votes. As a highly innovative cruise line pioneering new experiences such as surfing, ice skating and rock climbing on a first-class cruise ship, it is highly rewarding to achieve such recognition. The accolade of a Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Award is a clear demonstration of the excellence of a Royal Caribbean International holiday experience.”
