Hilton appoints new Russia manager
Hilton International has appointed Robert Stoddard as Director Of Development for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).The appointment marks a significant step in Hilton’s development plans for the region, as the company begins to introduce Hilton’s Family of Brands internationally.
Robert has over twenty-five years of experience in hotel operations management, development planning and advisory services. For the past three years Robert has worked throughout Russia and the CIS countries providing hotel development advisory services.
He established the hotel development consulting services for Colliers International - Russia in 2003, and provided hotel development services in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, and Perm. He has represented a number of different clients such as Evrofinance Mosnarbank, Alfa Eco, Intecko and Metalloinvest.
Graduating from Golden Gate University with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, Rob has worked with several U.S. hotel companies and corporations.
