GenaRes unveils shopping tools

GenaRes Worldwide Reservation Services is now fully integrated with the AnyRate Software NG competitive rate intelligence software. The integration will allow GenaRes customers to seamlessly access AnyRate competitive rate reports and tools directly from their GenaRes system.

The previously announced integration between GenaRes and EZ Yield, coupled with this integration with AnyRate, will provide GenaRes customers with an extremely powerful yet simple set of tools that will provide great efficiency and control as it relates to positioning and maintaining rates across all distribution channels. Ursula Rhode, Executive Vice President of Global Services for GenaRes, noted that “the addition of the AnyRate competitive rate shopping tools to the GenaRes offering continues our drive to provide value-added tools to our customers at an affordable price.” Rhode further noted that “after extensive research and review of various competitive rate shopping tools, we determined that AnyRate is the perfect partner to provide their proven technology and outstanding reporting package to GenaRes”.

In addition to the seamless integration, the alliance between GenaRes and AnyRate will also allow GenaRes customers to benefit via a discounted fee structure for the AnyRate competitive rate shopping programs. AnyRate offers a variety of competitive rate shopping reports and tools, including the new AnyRate NG report package, the most complete competitive rate shopping report package on the market today. AnyRate Flash, a real-time rate search tool, will also be one of the featured products in the package offered to GenaRes customers. AnyRate Flash is a true real-time search tool that conducts rate searches upon customer request, ensuring the freshest, most up-to-date rate intelligence possible. This capability prevents the issue of stale data that can be experienced when some rate shopping vendors utilize “cached” or previously archived data in their “on-demand” report tools.

GenaRes was formed last year by hotel industry veterans Michael G. Wilkins, Ricky A. Wilkins and Eugene Harris, who were founders of the Dallas-based hotel representation and reservations company Lexington Services Corp. In addition to originally founding Lexington Services, the GenaRes founders together have more than 30 years experience running a hotel company: Lexington Hotel Suites and Inns, which at one point had 50 hotels in its portfolio.
