In July of 2006, the Sheremetyevo airport serviced 7,860,000 passengers, an increase of 4.1% year-on-year.
In July, the overall passenger traffic at Sheremetyevo slightly surpassed the target and equalled 1,345,000 air travellers.

At present, the Sheremetyevo airport is used by over 100 Russian and foreign carriers.
