Gatwick Express strikes suspended

Further talks between Gatwick Express and the ASLEF union have resulted in the suspension of the first three proposed strike days. Strikes planned for 25, 29 August and 8 September have been suspended pending a new offer that is currently being considered.

Gatwick Express managing director, Peter Cotton added, “We are glad that further discussions with ASLEF are taking place and are optimistic that an agreement can be reached without any strikes being held. Gatwick Express can now focus on delivering its award winning customer service to travellers using Gatwick Express this Bank Holiday weekend.”
