Hotel.de is pushing its internationalisation under the domain TravelRes, in a bid to establish a significant presence in selected European markets.Hotel.de’s initial aim is to reach customers in Great Britain. A new U.K. office has already been installed in London / Wimbledon, to be followed by other important countries like France, Italy and Spain in 2006 and 2007 (under the domains travelres.fr, travelres.it and travelres.es).
First potential clients may be foreign-based subsidiaries or parent enterprises of German companies already having signed a contract with hotel.de. The aim is to establish TravelRes as the leading online hotel reservation service in the foreign markets mentioned above, and - step by step - in Europe as a whole. Of course, internationalisation means diversity in languages. TravelRes is therefore accessible not only in German and English, but also in French, Spanish, Italian and Czech - more languages, like Dutch, Swedish, Polish and Russian to follow soon.
