HSMAI gears up for internet conf

Leading industry experts will gather to discuss issues and trends in Internet marketing when the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) holds its 7th Travel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference on Dec. 6, 2006 at the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, FL.
Held in conjunction with HEDNA, the full-day program of keynote addresses, general sessions and roundtable debates will include a wide range of topics from search marketing, metrics, blogs and RSS feeds, to legal issues, best practices and more.

“The power of the Internet and e-commerce continue to skyrocket and greatly impact our business,” states Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI. “For one to be at the top of their game and aggressive in today’s marketplace, every sales and marketing professional in travel and hospitality needs to be well educated and informed to truly maximize the Internet’s effectiveness.”

A unique, full-day event, the conference is targeted to individuals who are in corporate and regional positions dedicated to Internet marketing, and for those who want to learn more about this evolving medium. The agenda will run from 8:30am to 4:45pm and will conclude with a networking reception until 6pm.

Aside from two general sessions and keynote addresses, the program features a networking lunch which will include five roundtable discussions, followed by recaps presented by facilitators on the following topics:
