In response to new airport security rules banning liquid items from carry-on luggage, Wyndham and Omni hotels is offering arriving guests toothpaste, contact lens solution, drinking water and other sundries. Wyndham’s initiative expands upon the brand’s guest service program, We Remember What You Forgot,
Arriving guests will be offered complimentary bottled water, contact lens solution, hair spray, hair gel and all of the 17 other items available to guests through the We Remember What You Forgot program, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant and other personal care products.
Omni Hotels is also offering a similar program, allowing guests to replenish nearly all forms of liquid and gel “basics”
“Taking care of our guests is fundamental,” said Mike Deitemeyer, president of Omni Hotels. “We know our guests will be inconvenienced by..[these] unexpected security changes, and we want to do whatever it takes to make their travel experiences less stressful.”
