Malev launches e-invoicing

Malev Hungarian Airlines is issuing e-Invoices for all electronic tickets purchased online. The e-Invoice is easily downloaded from the Malev website by simply clicking on a link provided in the confirmation email thus saving time and hassle in keeping track of invoices.

The Malév client interface takes into account all possible e-Invoice-related requirements of passengers. Unlike many other service providers, Malév not only complies with statutory invoicing provisions but it also allows the issued e-Invoice to be downloaded in two additional formats: in user-friendly pdf and in xml format supporting computer processing.
Doros Theodorou, UK Country Manager comments: “It is crucial that Malev targets its growing business market and our new e-invoicing service will be a useful tool for companies wishing to save time and money in the accounting department.”

Malév has been operating for over half a century and now ranks amongst the leading airlines of Central and Eastern Europe.  In the face of competition from low cost carriers, Malév continues to provide an “all-frills” service at “no-frills” prices, including allocated seats and a full meal service with fine wines.  Flying to over 60 destinations worldwide from its Budapest hub, the airline operates affordable, double-daily flights from London Heathrow from £92pp return and Gatwick to Budapest from just £87pp return inclusive of taxes and charges.  The airline also boasts one of the youngest fleet of Boeings of any airline in Europe and offers flexible tickets by allowing customers to change their travel plans for a nominal fee.
