Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts has selected and successfully installed IDeaS V5i as its revenue optimization system for its flagship property, The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore.

“The selection process we went through was very thorough. As well as our own in house expertise, we also took advice from external consultants comparing the various options available on the market today. Additional to this, we also have had some experience with other revenue management systems apart from IDeaS,” said Alka Kapoor, Corporate Director of Revenue Management for Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts.

Kapoor went further to say “What really showed out when doing the comparisons was both the advantage of the true ASP nature of the IDeaS V5i solution, as well as, its advanced ability to assist us in managing our various channels. Just as importantly it is helping us with the pricing issues that we face everyday. The other systems we looked at were not as capable in these areas.”

“After installation of the system we noticed an immediate increase in control over pricing and our room inventory.
