Vegas comes to Burbank Airport

Passengers flying from Burbank’s airport will be the first in California to have bragging rights to their very own Vegas concierge starting August 10, 2006.  Staffed by experts who know Vegas inside and out, the live concierge and show ticketing location will be located at Gate A4, Terminal A at Bob Hope Airport.

Staff at the booth will utilize VEGAS.com’s state-of-the-art Cyllenius System for Concierges, a point-of-sale solution which features the largest collection of Vegas-related products available on the planet. The system is deployed at more than 30 retail locations throughout Southern Nevada, including many of the most popular hotels on the Strip, and features extensive inventory of show tickets, restaurant reservations, golf tee times, front-of-line nightclub passes and more.

Additional airport concierge locations utilizing VEGAS.com’s Cyllenius system will be launching within the next few months.

“We can’t imagine a better pre-flight perk for outbound passengers to Vegas,” said Howard Lefkowitz, President of VEGAS.com. “Giving customers immediate access to shows and restaurants and other activities - in the down-time just before they arrive in our city - is a convenient service that we are proud to be the first to offer.”

The booth will operate from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. Fifteen flights bound for Las Vegas originate in Burbank every day. The unique program was created with Alliance Airport Advertising, Bob Hope’s airport advertising firm.
