BA commits to CyberSource

British Airways is extending its agreement to utilise CyberSource’s payment services for a period of three years. 
CyberSource services enable British Airways to accept credit and debit card payments online and via their call centre. 
In addition, the airline has selected CyberSource’s Payer Authentication service, which provides access to both the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode programmes to verify the cardholder’s identity, increasing payment security and reducing the risk of fraud.

Deborah Dickens, British Airways senior manager global distribution, said, “Developing our website, BA.com, is a core part of our sales strategy, so we welcome this long term partnership to further enhance the site’s payment processes.”

“Our experience in managing payments for sites with high security requirements and high transaction volumes has proven to be a key element in securing this new contract,” commented Nathan Jackson, managing director of CyberSource Ltd.
