Malév Hungarian Airlines is the most punctual airline in Europe, according to the latest (2006) report published by the Association of European Airlines (AEA). Malév takes first place in the survey of punctuality indicators of 25 European airlines on short-haul and medium-haul routes.  95% of Malév’s flights are within a range of 3000 km.

The survey also examines airlines’ baggage handling statistics, and these show Malév in third place in terms of baggage delivery performance among the 25 European carriers taking part in the research.
