US Airways cuts prices on Boston route

4th Aug 2006

US Airways has cut its 14-day advanced purchase roundtrip fare by 54 percent in its popular hourly Shuttle route offering 16 daily roundtrip flights between New York City’s LaGuardia Airport and Boston Logan Airport. This is an everyday fare and not just a sale or promotion.

US Airways has already lowered its fares in nearly 80 markets this year and introduced its customer-friendly pricing structure system-wide with the elimination of the Saturday night stay requirement.

“As we continue to reduce fares we’ve had an overwhelmingly positive response from our customers and a positive revenue impact for the airline,” said Scott Kirby, executive vice president, sales and marketing.
