Coral plots two golfing developments

Coral Hospitality has been retained by
Centex Homes for management services at two new residential developments
in Florida. The Quarry in Naples is a 1,200 residence development including an
18-hole, 72-par Hurdzan-Fry designed golf course with golf club
including formal dining, bar and grille, billiards room, pro-shop and
more. The new Sea Dwarf Paspalum course weaves gracefully throughout an
old limerock Quarry and brushes against more than 800 acres of nature
preserve surrounding the community.

“The challenge for players on this course will be wind and winding
greens,” reports Doug Reed, Vice President of Golf and Club Operations
for Coral Hospitality and Manager of The Quarry.

The Quarry is scheduled to open in November 2006 and will also include
six lighted, soft court tennis courts and a Lake Lodge & Beach Club with
indoor/outdoor bar and grille, two pools, fitness center, spa services
and boat docks. Coral Hospitality will manage the golf course, golf club
and community association.

Somerset at the Plantation in Fort Myers is one half of the master
community known as The Plantation, combining the cool and relaxed
atmosphere of an island plantation home with the luxury of first class
amenities and services. Coral Hospitality will manage the golf course
and country club, scheduled to open nine holes in January 2007, with
project completion in the fall of 2007.

This 18-hole par-72 course is also designed by Hurdzan-Fry and utilizes
new Sea Dwarf Paspalum. The golf club, called the Great House, is
approximately 40,000 sq. ft. and includes Dartington’s, fine dining
restaurant, a bar and grille, meeting rooms, pro shop, and locker
facilities. The community will also include six lighted, soft court
tennis courts and tennis pro shop and Somerset Hall, an activity center
with pool, massage and sauna rooms, billiards, and more.
