Sabre wins Hogg Robinson deal

Sabre Travel Network and Hogg Robinson Group are signing a new five-year global agreement. Through this long-term agreement with Sabre Travel Network, HRG has contracted to use the Sabre global distribution system (GDS) to access content and to use Sabre technology and products to grow their business in North America. The agreement will encompass HRG businesses in the United States, Canada and Europe.

“HRG has shown strong leadership and innovation in the travel industry and we are proud to be affiliated with such an outstanding group,” said John Stow, president, Sabre Travel Network. “Achieving a long-term agreement with an international corporate services group such as HRG is a strong endorsement of a balanced solution for an efficient marketplace.”

“Because of the breadth and depth of the Sabre GDS we can offer our travel consultants—and therefore our clients—comprehensive access to travel products and services,” said Bill Brindle, Business Technology and Distribution Director, Hogg Robinson Group. “The fact that we can get content from one aggregated source is tremendously important to our business and a key reason for our long-term commitment.”
Sabre has been nominated for World’s Leading CRS/ GDS System at this year’s World Travel Awards.
